DUBUQUE, Iowa (Apr. 14, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's golf team climbed up one spot on the final day of the Loras College Spring Invite that wrapped up on Monday to take second place overall with a 36-hole total of 705.
Brooke Stellmaker helped lead the charge for the Beavers by firing rounds of 77 and 83, respectively, to also come in second place among the individuals. She had the lone birdie for BVU on the day and it came on the par-4 11th hole.
Hailey Bistodeau turned in a top-10 effort as well by placing 10th with a round of 92.
Ella Whited and
Naomi SchraderBachar were close behind in 20th and 24th after turning in scores of 94 and 96.
Playing through gusty winds throughout the entire round, the Beavers were able to put up the second-lowest round of the day among the nine-team field and finished one spot ahead of the University of Dubuque (B) team. The Spartans' (A) squad claimed the overall team crown with a 668.
Buena Vista will conclude their spring season at the Simpson College Spring Invite on Wednesday, Apr. 16 at the Indianola Golf and Country Club.
